First off, no RetinA or any of those vitamin A creams for a couple of days before and after your treatment. Same goes for any harsh scrubs or bleaching creams – give your skin a break!
Guys, if you're getting treated, make sure to shave the area the day before.

And no lotions, perfumes, or makeup in the treatment areas beforehand – we want everything clean and fresh.
Now, to avoid feeling woozy during your treatment, make sure you've had a good meal beforehand. Nobody wants a fainting spell!
If you've got a big event coming up, like a wedding or vacation, try to schedule your Kybella appointment a few weeks beforehand. Bruising and swelling need some time to chill out.
Oh, and if you've got any rashes, cold sores, or blemishes in the treatment area, give us a heads up and we'll reschedule.
Steer clear of anything that thins your blood for about a week before and a few days after your treatment. That means no aspirin, Vitamin E, or fish oil supplements.
And sorry folks, no booze for a week before either – alcohol can up your chances of bruising.

AFTER
First things first, for the next day after your treatment, try to keep away from anything super hot, like jacuzzis or scalding hot showers. We want to keep things nice and cool for your skin.

Take it easy on the workouts for the next 24 hours. Your body needs a little time to chill after all that action.
