BEFORE
First things first, if you've been on Accutane or isotretinoin, we'll need to wait at least six months before we can do your Diamond Glow. That stuff can mess with your skin's protective barrier, so we want to make sure everything's in the clear.
About three days before your appointment, say goodbye to any skincare products with AHAs, Retinols, or Vitamin A. We want your skin to be in its natural state for the treatment.
If you're someone who gets cold sores, chat with your provider beforehand about how to handle them. We want to make sure everything's under control before we get started.
And if your skin's feeling a bit sensitive or irritated the day before your appointment – maybe you got a little too much sun or have a minor scrape – give us a heads-up. We'll figure out the best plan of action together.
Oh, and one last thing – if you've got any open wounds or compromised skin in the treatment area, we'll need to hold off on the Diamond Glow for now. Safety first!
AFTER
Some folks might notice a bit of redness right after their treatment. Don't stress – it's totally normal and usually calms down within a few minutes to a few hours.

For the next three days, steer clear of any skincare products with AHAs, Retinols, or Vitamin A. We want your skin to soak up all that Diamond Glow goodness without any interference.
Give exfoliating a break for about a week after your treatment. Your skin just got a deep exfoliation, so it needs a little time to chill and recover.
Your skin might feel a tad more sensitive to your usual skincare products after the treatment. It's usually not a big deal, but if something feels too intense, take a break from it for a few days.
